Natural alkaline body lotion with olive oil
Personal hygiene is a particularly important topic for all of us. Looking young and healthy is something that virtually everyone wants – even in old age. And since the skin is our largest organ, it is important to pay very special attention to it. We should always remember to moisturize our skin, especially after contact with water. As water dries out our skin quickly! And: Skin dries out even faster in winter, which is why it needs even more care to prevent redness and itching.
The main purpose of ANACOS body lotion is to provide the skin – from head to toe – with long-lasting moisture after every shower, bath or swim, to bind this moisture and protect skin using radical scavengers. The olive oil content in the cream is mainly responsible for this. Even though our great-grandmothers and the ancient Greeks already knew that olive oil moisturizes dry skin, this ingredient often still plays a secondary role in commercial cosmetics. The reason for this is certainly that natural oil is much more complicated and cost-intensive to produce than, for example, the frequently used paraffin wax, which is obtained from petroleum distillation residues, is cheaper and (superficially) compatible and has a long shelf life.
The natural olive oil in ANACOS body lotion, on the other hand, consists of 85 percent essential fatty acids, which dry skin usually lacks. The fatty acids, especially the linoleic acid contained in olive oil, are necessary to build up the natural barrier that protects the skin from drying out. However, the real strength of exclusively high-quality, cold-pressed olive oil is its antioxidant effect: This is because, unlike many other vegetable oils such as maize germ oil, which are also occasionally used in cosmetics and contain vitamin E, the olive oil contained in ANACOS body lotion stands out due to its many polyphenols. And they're really impressive: Polyphenols are strong radical scavengers that protect the cells.
But can I really cream myself from head to toe with it? Yes, because ANACOS body lotion is quickly absorbed (1-2 minutes), leaves no greasy film on the skin and you can get dressed again straight away. So there is no sticking and smearing at all.
